Meet the Characters in The Captain's Fund:
Mary Catherine Burke's entire life revolves around the Burke Jewelry business.  Consumed by her work, MC has not had time to pursue her own passions. Just when she thought she might be able to delve into other interests, vicious rumors link her family's wealth and success to several murders and black market diamonds stolen from the mines of South Africa. The trail leads her to the beautiful  island of St. Maarten where she runs head on into Police Captain Blake.

Rod Williams and his partner, Scott McKay, were very successful solving crimes for the Massachusetts State Police.  Devastated by the untimely death of his beloved wife and then his revered father, Rod has decided to escape the present and dwell in his memories. He returns to the Café at Friar's Beach, St. Martin to lose himself in his past…until a chance encounter with MC.

Mary Catherine is desperate to know the truth. Frustrated at every turn, MC seeks help from Rod,  possibly her only hope. But, Rod is consumed by his own personal tragedies. Reluctantly, they are drawn together. Before they can reach out to each other, they must face their own inner demons.

Meet the characters in Smoldering :
A corpse, burned beyond recognition, discovered during a fire in the servants' quarters of the Parkman Compound in Hyannis...Parkman's sudden departure on an unplanned cruise...a dubious caretaker alone on the estate...pretentious neighbors...That's all Massachusetts State Troopers Scott McKay and Rod Williams have to go on.

Scott guides his team through an intricate maze of intrigue built by the wealthy and arrogant.  Whispers of covetous affairs impede his interviews and evidence of forged signatures and lies pervade his notebook.  He lived for investigations like this!  However, before Scott could begin comprehensive questioning concerning a potential homicide, it is up to Rod, a decorated fire investigator, to determine the cause of the fire.  Was it accidental?  Or was it deliberate?

With the nation's eyes now turned on the politically powerful Parkman, Scott and Rod would be the focus of every media story until the mystery of the smoldering corpse was solved.  Meanwhile, Mary Catherine Burke, daughter of a successful jewelry business owner, thought she loved Rod, and that he loved her.  But when he abandoned her only moments before boarding the plane for the vacation they both had been longing for, she doubted her own feelings as well as his.  Did his job come before their love for one another?  Like it or not, she had to look inside herself, and come to terms with her own emotions before she could understand Rod's.

No Second Chance
An unseen force pushed Kristin Tyler into confronting her dear friend, Celeste.  Celeste was on a dead end road leading to the destruction of her relationship with her only daughter, Meagan, but she refused to listen to Kristin's voice of reason until a murderer threatened Meagan's life…

Found floating outside Hyannis Harbor, a corpse waited for Scott McKay, Massachusetts State Police.  Assigned the case, he would lead his team through the investigation where Scott's passion for the job fueled his energy.

Scott and Kristin met in Smoldering when they solved a fatal fire at the Parkman Compound.  Now, they fight separate battles—Scott, a brutal murder and Kristin, a cherished friendship.
